U.S. Department of Education publishes initial draft regulations and starts AIM Committee meetings

On April 13, 2026, the Accreditation, Innovation, and Modernization (AIM) negotiated rulemaking committee convened for the first of its two scheduled negotiating sessions. In advance of that session, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) released an initial draft regulations for committee consideration.
