n March 16, 2026, President Trump issued an Executive Order establishing the White House “Task Force to Eliminate Fraud” (Task Force), an interagency body charged with coordinating a government-wide strategy to combat “fraud, waste, and abuse” in federal benefit programs. The Executive Order (EO) is the latest step in a broader 2026 anti-fraud initiative that began in January with the announcement of a new U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) National Fraud Enforcement Division....
