Florida Attorney General establishes a unit to combat threats from foreign adversaries to consumer data privacy, economic security and market integrity.

On February 5, 2026, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the creation of the Consumer Harm from International Nefarious Actors ("CHINA") Prevention Unit, a new enforcement section within the Office of the Attorney General.
