The U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division ("DOL") has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking ("NPRM") to rescind its 2024 final rule on worker classification and largely readopt the 2021 rule's "economic reality" framework, with targeted modifications.
