Supreme Court Upholds State Laws Prohibiting Female Transgender Students from Girl’s and Women’s Athletic Teams

On June 30, 2026, the United States Supreme Court issued its decision in West Virginia v. B.P.J., consolidated with Little v. Hecox, addressing whether states may restrict participation on female athletic teams based on biological sex.
