The Federal Court of Australia found former executives of Star Entertainment Group liable for breaching their duties of care and diligence.

In a significant corporate governance decision, the Federal Court of Australia has found the former chief executive officer (CEO), and the former company secretary and chief legal and risk officer (CLRO) of ASX-listed casino operator Star Entertainment Group (Star) personally liable for breaching their statutory duties of care and diligence as directors and officers, while dismissing claims against the company’s non-executive directors....
