Earlier this summer, Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee signed the Use of Artificial Intelligence by Healthcare Providers Notification Act ("the Act"), which requires healthcare providers and healthcare facilities to notify patients if they use AI technologies to assist with notetaking during patient visits and to review the AI-generated documentation for accuracy after the visit....
