On April 7, 2026, China’s State Council simultaneously promulgated two major regulations, completing a systemized countersanctions framework: the Regulations on Countering Foreign Improper Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (Decree No. 835) and the Regulations on the Security of Industrial and Supply Chains (Decree No. 834).
