United States terminates IEEPA-based tariffs following supreme court decision
All US tariffs imposed by the Trump Administration under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (“IEEPA”) terminated at 12:00 am eastern time on February 24, 2026. The action follows the Supreme Court’s decision in Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump on February 20, 2026, which found that IEEPA does not grant the president authority to impose tariffs....
