What is a workspace?
A workspace is an organization or team container that groups related vendors, documents, and trust centers together. You can have multiple workspaces for different departments or projects.
Gated documents require authentication (sign-in) to access. You can set documents as gated when uploading or editing them. Public documents are accessible without authentication.
Can I organize documents?
Yes! Documents can be:
Categorized (Security, Compliance, Legal, etc.) Tagged for easy searching Linked to vendors Organized in folders (coming soon)
How do I download documents?
Click on any document in the documents list, then click "Download" in the document detail view.
Trust Center
What is a Trust Center?
A Trust Center is a public-facing website that displays your organization's security and compliance information. It helps you answer security questionnaires and build trust with customers.
How do I create a Trust Center?
1. Navigate to "Trust Center"
2. Click "Create Page" or edit the default page
3. Add sections (headers, content blocks, FAQs)
4. Configure settings
5. Preview your changes
6. Click "Publish" when ready

Can I customize the Trust Center?
Yes! You can customize:
Logo and branding Colors and themes Sections and content Layout and structure Custom domain (Pro plan and above)
Can I use my own domain?
Yes! Custom domains are available on Pro plans and above. Contact support to set up a custom domain.
Security requests are questions from customers or prospects about your security and compliance practices. WebScouter helps you respond to these efficiently.
How do I respond to requests?
1. Navigate to "Requests"
2. Click on a pending request
3. Answer questions using your Q&A entries
4. Attach relevant documents
5. Review and send your response

Can I reuse answers?
Yes! You can create Q&A entries that can be reused across multiple requests. This saves time and ensures consistency.
